A 21-Gun Salute to Australia. Whereas the military officers receive a salute from Royal Australian Navy Flagship. Royal Australian Air Force also participate in this ceremony. The national anthem is also performed on this occasion. This year 2024 this event will be held at the Sydney Harbour.

The tall ships race starts at 1 pm. The route of this race is from Bradley’s Head to Sydney Harbour Bridge. The Australia Day Regatta starts at 1:15 pm. This is basically a 100 years old traditional and classic yachts race. This race is from Botany Bay and back to Sydney. Yachts race can be better viewed from Milsons Point and Lavender Bay.

- Australia Day Parade
The thrilling annual traditional national day Australia Parade takes place at Town Hall along with preceded a rousing flag-raising ceremony. Australia Day Address is given by the Governor of Victoria and also received a Royal Guard of Honour. A colourful parade begins at 11 am on Swanston Street heads towards the King’s Domain.
